Numerous sources within TNA Wrestling believe that Steve “Sting” Borden is very close to reaching a new deal with the organization. He’s been negotiating with Dixie Carter for the last two weeks.
His profile was removed from the company website last night while they negotiate a new deal.
As of the middle of last week, WWE officials had not contacted Borden regarding an appearance at WrestleMania XXVII. This story is being WAY overblown by many. It’s hard to convince people otherwise as well but it is what it is. As of now, The Undertaker is set to return on 2/21/11. They need him back prior to WrestleMania and this is their storyline angle to do so. It’s that simple and there is honestly nothing more to it guys. Believe what you will.
We’ll have another huge backstage update on why Sting likely isn’t debuting in WWE in the next day or so. Stay tuned.
