Sonya Deville Stalker Case Update
As noted before, Sonya Deville was the victim of an attempted kidnapping incident at her home in Lutz, Florida this past August. The suspect, Phillip A. Thomas, was arrested shortly afterwards and admitted to stalking and planning for months to kidnap Deville.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the deposition phase of Deville’s stalker criminal case is currently scheduled to start on February 3rd. Johnson reported that Mandy Rose is scheduled to be deposed on February 3rd, Deville on February 13th, several police officers who responded to Deville’s 911 call on February 18th, and Thomas on February 25th. Johnson also reported that Deville and Thomas’ depositions will be held as a Zoom video conference call.
Thomas is currently facing charges of Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief.
WWE Files Several New Trademarks
WWE recently filed several new trademarks to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Trademarks for “The Witch“, “Diamond Mine“, “The Bridge“, “Ni Wu”, “Qi Yue“, “The Covenanter“, “Quan Tuo”, “Qiao Liang“, and “Ji Lu” were filed on December 30th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.
Updated WWE Friday Night SmackDown Ratings
This past Friday’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown drew a final viewership of 2,013,000 on FOX, according to Showbuzz Daily. This was up compared to the initial overnight number of 1,915,000 viewers on the network.
