“The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry has signed with AEW and will be an “analyst” for AEW’s upcoming new show, AEW Rampage.
During the Double or Nothing PPV tonight, Tony Schiavone got in the ring and introduced Henry as an “analyst” for Rampage, presumably meaning that he’ll be on commentary for the show.
Henry came out on stage to a big pop and embraced the crowd, then went back into the entrance tunnel.
Schiavone also said that Henry will be a coach for AEW wrestlers, and that we’ll hear from Henry this Friday on Dynamite.

AEW Rampage will premiere on TNT on Friday, August 13 and will air every Friday at 10 PM ET.
Henry’s last match was in the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia in April 2018, and his last WWE TV appearance was the Legends Night Raw in January of this year, when he was verbally attacked as washed up by Randy Orton backstage, while Henry was using a scooter.
According to PWInsider, the Big Show Paul Wight, who was also verbally embarrassed by Randy Orton on that same Raw, was upset about his Legends Night segment and that was reportedly one of the main reasons why he decided to leave WWE and sign with AEW.
