WWE.com has announced that Smackdown star Scotty Goldman has been released:
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman (Scott Colton) as of February 20, 2009. WWE wishes Scott the best in all future endeavors.
Goldman had been used very infrequently on WWE televsion in the past few months and hosted the WWE.com show “What’s Crackin’ with Scotty Goldman.”
