Backstage Updates – Awesome Kong/Tyler Black/WWE

— SITE NOTE: Things are really starting to pick up here on the website as we approach WrestleMania 27 in about a week. You can expect news to really pick up this weekend and especially next week with tons and tons of WrestleMania media and backstage news. WWE will be opening their talents up to numerous media outlets on Tuesday which means a ton of news and rumors. We’ll also be posting loads of news and recaps from WrestleMania week including the AXXESS festivities. If you’re attending AXXESS and/or WrestleMania 27 and want to be a correspondent for us, please email me at Webmaster@ProWrestlingSCOOPS.com and we’ll set things up. Trust me when I tell you that next week will be insanely busy guys. You’re going to want to check back in numerous times daily in order to be able to keep up with everything. — Former TNA Knockouts champion and current WWE talent Awesome Kong is expected to make her debut shortly after WrestleMania 27, likely within the next month or two. It should be noted that there were plans to have her debut last December but those plans were nixed.

— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE is looking for a new VP of Talent Relations. This person would work under John Laurinaitis. The spot was formerly held by Ty Bailey. Ty now works for Triple H in a new backstage role.

— As of this writing, former ROH world champion Tyler Black is slated for the next season of WWE.com’s NXT. Of course, things could change.
