— Attempting to capitalize on American Idol contestant James Durbin’s noted wrestling fandom, World Wrestling Entertainment sent him a custom made spinner WWE “Spinner” belt. It was displayed on last night’s show with the name “Crazy James” engraved.
— WWE Monday Night RAW on August 15, 2011 will be held at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.
— Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced on his Twitter account that he’s giving away tickets to WrestleMania XXVII. He wrote, “ROCK HIDE & TWEET – 2 Mania tix I’ll hide here in ATLANTA – I’ll tweet clues tomorrow am. You find the tix ..you’re going to WRESTLEMANIA!”
