WWE reportedly is currently rumored to be holding this year’s WWE Draft next month, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that several talent spoken to stated that they currently believe that this year’s WWE Draft special will be held during the week of September 4th. The basis for this belief reportedly revolves around several RAW brand talent currently being scheduled to appear on the first SmackDown show following next month’s Clash at the Castle event and vice versa for SmackDown talent scheduled to appear on the first RAW show following the event.
These same talents spoken to stated that “there have been other things” that have tipped off the locker room of a new WWE Draft taking place very soon. This reportedly includes WWE’s current plans to repackage a few people leading to the belief within the locker room that this will occur once the Draft takes place.
