Impact Wrestling reportedly is currently dealing with serious ratings-related issues with cables and satellite television providers, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that last week’s ratings for Impact was negatively impacted by listing issues from several television providers that currently carry AXS TV, Impact’s home network. These issues affected both Impact’s live and DVR viewership for the show.
Johnson reported that those spoken to within Impact stated that they currently believe that these listing issues mostly affected the first hour of last week’s show due to the second hour had much higher ratings based on internal ratings numbers.
Johnson reported that Impact is currently expected to deal with another ratings-related issue for this week’s show due to several cable and satellite providers currently have the show listed as a repeat and not a new episode. Those spoken to within Impact reportedly stated that Impact officials are doing what they can to get AXS TV to resolve the issues but until it happens, those who record the series on DVR are being advised to make sure going forward that the episodes are actually set to record.
