— Edge is advertised to surrender the World Heavyweight Championship at tonight’s WWE SmackDown taping in Albany, New York. In a trivia note, Edge will be vacating the title in the same building he won his first WWE Championship, which took place in 2006 at WWE New Year’s Revolution. After John Cena won the Elimination Chamber Match, he cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase and subsequently won the strap.
— We talked to someone at the Times Union Center box office earlier today and were told that the upper-deck of the arena hasn’t even been opened up for tickets yet. They were still trying to fill the bottom level as of 3:00EST. That is horrible for attendance – likely in the 6,000 range for a TV taping. Obviously, they are hoping for a strong walk-up.
