In a press conference held earlier today in Mexico, Lucha Libre AAA officially announced the partial card for their upcoming Triplemania XXXI: Tijuana event, which takes place on July 15th at the Chevron Stadium Tijuana in Tijuana, Mexico.
It was announced that El Hijo del Vikingo will be defending his AAA Mega Championship against Kenny Omega at the event.

This match was originally scheduled to take place in 2021 with Omega defending his Mega title at the time against del Vikingo but this was dropped due to Omega being out of action from several injuries and his Mega title being vacated as a result.
Omega and del Vikingo recently competed against each other in a non-title match at AEW’s Dynamite show on March 22rd in Independence, Missouri.
Partial card for AAA Triplemania XXXI: Tijuana:

- Guerra de Rivalidades Tournament Finals – LA Parka & RUSH vs. Sa, Adonis & Psycho Clown
- Copa Triplemanía XXXI: Tijuana match – Team Baja (Nicho El Millonario & TBA) vs. Team Chilango (Negro Casas & TBA)
