MMAScoops.com is reporting that Bobby Lashley will square of against fellow former professional wrestler Ken Shamrock at Roy Jones Jr.’s mixed boxing and MMA event “March Badness.” Ken Shamrock is coming off of his first win in five years, which saw him armbar Ross Clifton on February 13. Lashley won his first MMA bout in December in just 41 seconds, and has not fought since then.
MMAScoops.com also reports that March Badness is scheduled for March 21 at the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida. The card will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. The main event is a boxing bout featuring Roy Jones Jr. as he takes on Omar Sheika in a light-heavyweight bout. Other MMA fighters expected for the card are Seth Petruzelli, Doug Marshall, and a heavyweight fight between Jeff Monson and Roy Nelson.
