The first elimination of the ongoing season took place on Tuesday night’s show as JTG’s protégé Jacob Novak was booted from the program. Eleven episodes have taken place thus far, compared to thirteen episodes in Seasons 2-4. WWE has not announced when the ongoing season will conclude.
— WWE developmental wrestlers AJ Lee and Maxine are scheduled to be called up to the SmackDown! roster.
AJ worked two SmackDown! live events this past week, teaming with Natalya against Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes. The babyfaces won both matches.
Meanwhile, NXT Season 3 runner-up Naomi has not been mentioned as a potential call-up.
