The Tampa Tribune discusses the charity show at the International Independent Showmen’s Association Event Center. The event, which will feature 10-matches, will feature Florida Championship Wrestling talent this Saturday. All proceeds of the event will go to the Mary and Martha House for domestic violence victims and the children’s wing at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Center.
Former WWE referees Wes Adams and Mike Posey will face off in a wrestling match on March 28th at the Spring Bash 2009 show in Summit, MS at the Gordon Covington Rotary Gym. Adams wrestled as Scott Starr previous to his WWE refereeing job, and Posey wrestled briefly in TNA.
Manu, who was recently released from the WWE, will be making his first independent appearance since his release at the WXW C-4 in Allentown, PA this Saturday.
Brooke Hogan will be performing at Calle Ocho on March 15th. Calle Ocho is a huge Block party in South Miami, and is free to attend.
