Apparently, the reason for Lilian singing the National Anthem was because the NBA held its third annual Noche Latina event — a program that recognizes the league’s fans and players from across Latin America and U.S. Hispanic communities. Eight NBA teams changed their uniforms for one night only including the Knicks, whose jerseys read “Nueva York.”
