As noted before, Kevin Owens was involved in a storyline angle and brawl with Cody Rhodes following WWE’s Bad Blood 2024 event earlier this month in Atlanta, Georgia. Last week’s WWE SmackDown show in Greenville, South Carolina featured Owens making a surprise appearance and trying to respond to his brawl with Rhodes to no avail due to WWE officials preventing him from speaking out. Owens had issued an ultimatum this past Wednesday giving WWE until the start of tonight’s SmackDown show to air his video explaining his side of the story or else he would do it on his own.
Owens provided an update earlier today on Twitter stating that he could not wait until tonight’s SmackDown show due to his mistrust of WWE and released his video response.
In the video, Owens stated that he was told again by WWE officials to stay away from SmackDown and tonight’s show due to his recent attack on Rhodes.
Owens also gave his thoughts about his recent attack on Randy Orton stating that he could get over WWE’s demands but he can’t get over Orton betraying him. Owens stated “I would have never done that to you. I thought what we had was different. I can’t believe you picked Cody Rhodes over me.”
Owens also stated that between WWE disrespecting him and Orton breaking his trust, he does not know “if or when” he can come back.
