As noted before, WWE has been working on plans to introduce a new championship for their main roster Women’s division for their RAW brand.
Monday’s WWE RAW show in Glendale, Arizona featured RAW General Manager Adam Pearce officially debuting a new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the RAW brand.
In a video that aired during the show, Pearce was seen in the ring next to a podium that had something covered. During his speech, Pearce proceeded to take over the cover revealing a brand new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship that featured a similar design to the Intercontinental title currently held by Bron Breakker.
Pearce stated that a new tournament will be held to crown its inaugural champion and that this tournament will be starting at next week’s RAW show on December 2nd in Everett, Washington.
