Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew 1,436,000 viewers on USA Network, up from the previous week’s 1,326,000 viewers.
It drew a 0.41 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from the previous week’s 0.37 rating.
In regards to notable sports competition, the 2024 DirectTV Holiday Bowl College football game of Syracuse vs. Washington State drew 2,931,000 viewers on FOX, the 2024 Liberty Bowl College football game of Texas Tech vs. Arkansas drew 4,206,000 viewers on ESPN, the NBA game of Indiana Paces vs. Boston Celtics drew 195,000 viewers on NBA TV, and the NHL game of Chicago Blackhawks vs. Buffalo Sabres drew 245,000 viewers on ESPN2.
Last year’s SmackDown on December 29, 2023 drew 1,355,000 viewers and a 0.28 rating on FOX. The December 30, 2022 episode drew 2,629,000 viewers on FOX.
