— CWI, the Ontario-based promotion that Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner and many other big names worked with last month, posted the following, claiming that they have been blocked from using a building by a “Connecticut company”… “Championship Wrestling International is set to invade Canada’s eastern provinces, with East Coast Invasion Tour dates to be released next Monday, June 27. The dates were to be announced this week, but a show planned for August 27 at the Halifax Forum cannot be held at the venue after a Connecticut company moved to block CWI from using the Forum on that date. CWI is arranging for a new venue and will announce its full East Coast tour schedule next week.”
