Texas Death Match Stip Set for AEW World Title at All In Texas

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 300 show at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California featured one newly updated match announced for the card of All In Texas.

This newly updated match was an AEW World Championship Texas Death Match of Hangman Adam Page vs. Jon Moxley (c).

This new stipulation was setup following a promo segment involving Page, Moxley, and Marina Shafir. During the start of the show, Page came out to the ring and talked about his upcoming AEW World title match against Moxley at All In: Texas. Page then issued a challenge to Moxley to a Texas Death Match for the title.

This led to Moxley coming out and rejected Page’s challenge and gave him his reasons why Page really doesn’t want to face him in a Texas Death match.

This then led to Page slapping Moxley and a brawl breaking out leading to Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castsgnoli running out and laid out Page as Moxley and Shafir left through the crowd. After Castagnoli and Yuta left, Page grabbed a microphone and mocked the Death Riders since he is still standing. This led to Castagnoli trying to get back into the ring only to be stopped by The Opps. After some staring down, Shafir got back into the ring and attempted to strike Page with the briefcase only for Page to yank it away and yelled at Moxley to give him “Texas Death.” An angry Moxley responded back agreeing to the stipulation.

Page responded stating that he would prove that he would do anything in a Texas Death Match and proceeded to lay out Shafir with a Buckshot Lariat.

In a follow-up segment, it was announced that this new stipulation was made official for the AEW World title match at All In Texas.

Claudio Castagnoli Makes Surprise Return at AEW Dynamite 300 Show

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 300 show also featured Claudio Castagnoli making his surprise return.

During the show, Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley were involved in a promo segment about Page challenging Moxley to a Texas Deathmatch for the stip of their AEW World Championship match. This led to a brawl breaking out between the two that involved Wheeler Yuta running out only to get quickly laid out by Page. This then led to Castagnoli making his surprise return and ran out to help his fellow Death Riders members. Castagnoli and Yuta managed to lay out Page and proceeded to leave the ring and through the crowd only for Page to get up and trash talked the Death Riders for leaving him standing.

This was Castagnoli’s first appearance since this past early June due to him taking a break for personal reasons.

MJF Wins #2 Spot for Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 300 show also featured MJF earning the #2 spot for the Men’s Casino Gauntlet match at All In Texas.

This match featured MJF defeating AR Fox, Brody King, and Anthony Bowens in a Four-way match.

Bandido Debuts New Entrance Song on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 300 Show

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 300 show also featured Bandido officially debuting a new entrance theme song.

Prior to the start of the Heroes vs. Villians Trios match between Konosuke Takeshita & The Young Bucks and Bandido & Paragon, Bandido came out to the ring to a new entrance song.

Ospreay & Strickland vs. Young Bucks with Special New Stips Set for All In Texas

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 300 show also featured one new match announced for the card of All In Texas, which takes place on July 12th at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

This new match announced was a tag team match of Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson). This new match also features the stipulation of if Ospreay & Strickland wins, then the Young Bucks would no longer be AEW EVPs but if the Young Bucks wins, then Ospreay & Strickland would not be allowed to challenge for the AEW World title again for a whole year.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Ospreay & Strickland’s bad blood issues with the Young Bucks and Ospreay & Strickland challenging the Bucks to a match at All In with their EVPs titles on the line. During tonight’s show, Ospreay & Strickland attacked the Bucks after their Trios victory with Konosuke Takeshita against Paragon & Bandido. This led to a brawl breaking out and after the Young Bucks escaped to safety, Ospreay & Strickland demanded an answer to their challenge. The Bucks responded back rejecting the challenge which led to Ospreay upping the stakes saying that if the Bucks win, then neither him nor Strickland would be allowed to challenge again for the AEW World title for a year. This led to Strickland being upset over Ospreay’s new stipulation and the Young Bucks responding back stating they will only agree if Strickland agrees to the new stip, which Strickland did.

In a follow-up segment, this new match and its stipulations were made official for All In Texas.

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured four new matches announced for the card of this week’s AEW Collision 100 show on July 5th.

This week’s show will be taped on Wednesday, July 2nd at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California as part of AEW’s Dynamite tapings that night.

These new matches were setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.

These new matches were:
