TNA Impact TV Taping Night 2 Spoilers from Kingston, RI – KC Navarro Announces Torn ACL Injury, Former TNA World Champion Makes Surprise Return, New Matches Set for TNA Emergence 2025

TNA Wrestling held the second night of a new set of Impact! television tapings on Friday at the Ryan Center in Kingston, Rhode Island.

These tapings will be for future episode(s) of Impact! and for the build for TNA’s upcoming Emergence 2025 event.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, former TNA World Champion Rich Swann made his surprise return to TNA. During the tapings, FIR$T CLA$$ came out for a new FIR$T CLA$$ Penthouse talk show segment. KC Navarro announced that he had suffered a torn ACL injury leading to AJ Francis introducing Swann’s return to TNA and to FIR$T CLA$$.

Several new matches for the card of TNA Emergence 2025 on August 15th were also announced. These were a TNA World Championship match of Moose vs. Trick Williams (c), a TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Four-way match of Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee vs Fatal Influence vs The IInspiration vs. The Elegance Brand (c), a No DQ, No Countout match of Steve Maclin vs. Jake Something, a singles match of Mike Santana vs. Sami Callihan, and a singles match of Ryan Nemeth vs. Home Town Man.

TNA Xplosion:

• Jody Threat beat Arianna Grace
• Home Town Man, who had his mask back, defeated The Mecca Brian Johnson
  • Before the match Johnson cut a promo that got a surprising amount of heat. He said he’s from the greatest city on the planet, Philadelphia. 

TNA Impact! for August 7th episode:

• Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz, & The Great Hands) came out to the ring and gave a promo. Ali stated that TNA has chaos and disorder due to outsiders coming in and seizing our prestigious championships but now is the time for change. Ali stated that he will go to war with The Great Hands & Steelz and talked about the large member of his Secret Service will guarantee no one gets their hands on him. After some insults directed at The System and Joe Hendry, Hendry comes out to interrupt. Hendry stated there is no secrets in TNA and they picked up embarrassing footage of John Skylar. This led to a video airing featuring a Jod Hendry wrestling buddy with Skylar’s face on it and “Skylar” buying an Ali shirt and using it to wipe his ass on the toilet. This led to an angry Ali responding back and turned down Hendry’s challenge for a match tonight and instead accepted it for next week’s show. TNA World Champion Trick Williams came out to interrupt and stated that it’s him vs. Moose at TNA Emergence 2025 and proceeded to mock Moose and his family. This led to Moose coming out and attacked Williams who managed to escape before Moose could hit a spear. This then led to Frankie Kazarian coming out with a document in his hand.
• TNA International Champion Steve Maclin vs. Jake something went to a Double Count Out. Prior to the start of the match, Kazarian was at ringside for guest commentary. Following the match, Maclin and Something brawled leading to security coming out to break it up.
• Mike Santana came out and gave a promo from the stands.Santana talked about his loss at Slammiversary 2025 and how he had comforted his little girl telling her everything is gonna be okay and she told him she knows because he’s gonna get Trick next time. Santana stated that he promised that it’s not a question of if but when he stands in “this fucking ring” and whoops Trick .
• Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee defeated The Elegance Brand (M & Heather By Elegance)
• FIR$T CLA$$ came out for a new episode of their FIR$T CLA$$ Penthouse talk show. KC Navarro announced that he had re-aggravated his knee at Slammiversary and will have to get surgery for a torn ACL. AJ Francis responded stating that like the NFL, it’s the next man up and proceeded to introduce Rich Swann’s return to TNA and FIR$T CLA$$. Francis forced Navarro to hold the mic for Swann and he didn’t seem happy about it. Swann stated he is back to make the company TNAJ. Francis then future endeavored Navarro from FIR$T CLA$$ and called him a replacement leading to an upset Navarro telling him off. After some more insults by Francis, Swann yanked Navarro’s crutch out causing him to fall on the ramp. Navarro then left to the back.
• Mara Sade defeated Vicious Vicki
• TNA Knockouts World Championship – Ash By Elegance defeated Jacy Jayne by Disqualification. Near the end of the match, Masha Slamovich came out and attacked Ash leading to the referee calling for the bell. Following the match, a brawl broke out involving Xia Brookside, Lei Ying Lee, The Elegance Brand, Fatal Influence, and The IInspiration all running out.
• TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella came out and announced several matches for TNA Emergence 2025, which were Steve Maclin vs Jake Something in a No DQ, No Countout match, Mike Santana vs Sami Callihan, and The Elegance Brand vs Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee vs Fatal Influence vs The IInspiration for TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. Marella also called out The Nemeths and told them that due to their attack on the Home Town Man last week, he is taking away their Tag titles match and giving it to The Rascalz and also suspending the Nemeths. This led to Ryan Nemeth threatening to sue Marella leading to Marella announcing Ryan Nemeth vs. Home Town Man at Emergence.
• Mustafa Ali vs. Joe Hendry

TNA Impact! for August 7th episode:

• Moose was seen laid out backstage. The rest of The System were upset and quickly left Moose and walked out to the ring. They called out Trick Williams & FIR$T CLA$$ to settle this once and for all.
• Six-Man Tag Team match – Trick Williams & FIR$T CLA$$ (Rich Swann & AJ Francis) defeated The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, & JDC)
• Dani Luna & Indi Hartwell defeated Harley Hudson & Myla Grace. Following the match, Rosemary came out from the crowd and hit a mist attack on Hartwell.
• Matt Cardona defeated John Skylar. Following the match, Jason Hotch and the giant Secret Service member attacked Cardona.
• Santino Marella came out to the ring for a Knockout Tag Team Summit. Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee, Fatal Influence, The IInspiration, The Elegance Brand all came out and spoke why they were going to win leading to a big brawl breaking out and security guards running out to try to break it up only for each of the babyfaces doing dives to the outside onto the heels and security.
• Mike Santana defeated Eric Young, Following the match, the Northern Armory attacked Santana leading to Sami Callihan running out for the save.
• Frankie Kazarian came out for his The King’s Speech talk show segment. Kazarian introduced Steve Maclin and Jake Something, who both said nothing at first and broke their silence after Maclin told Kazarian to shut up. Maclin stated that at Emergence, we will find out if Jake is Something. This led to a brawl breaking out with Kazarian bailing.
• The Rascalz (Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz) & Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater & The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy)
