Colby Corino Underwent Emergency Surgery On Neck & Back

National Wrestling Alliance talent Colby Cornio announced on Twitter that he had underwent emergency surgery this past Thursday for his neck and back.

“I’m sorry to everyone who has worried about me these past few days.
I went to the hospital on Thursday night and was told I needed emergency surgery on my neck and back. I never thought something like this would ever happen. I’m still processing everything, but I will be okay.
I don’t know if I’ll be in a wrestling ring anytime soon, but at this point, I just want to be able to pick up my son again.
I’m not looking forward to this long road of recovery, but I pray that my family and I make it through it

TrillerTV Announces New Wrestling Reality Series with The Good Brothers

TrillerTV announced that they have partnered with The Good Brothers (Karl Anerson & Doc Gallows) for a new wrestling reality series called TALKNSHOP PREENTS: Lariato Pro on their streaming service.

It was announced that the first episode of this new series premiered on August 2nd on their service.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Pro Wrestling Revolver recently announced that Mr. Anderson, former Mr. Kennedy in WWE, will be making his official debut appearance for the company at their Clean Slate event on September 6th in Clive, Iowa.

TNA Wrestling reportedly drew an attendance of 400 for their Impact! tapings on July 24th in Kingston, RI, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

United Pro Wrestling announced that Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander will be making an appearance for the company at their Battleground in Gastonia event on September 13th in Gastonia, North Carolina. It was also announced that Benjamin and Alexander will be reuniting as the Hurt Business for one night only.

Sunday’s Nettou Summer Action Wars 2025 event for All Japan Pro Wrestling featured Daisuke Sekimoto & Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeating Hokuto-gun (Hokuto Omori & Kuma Arashi). Following the match, Sekimoto revealed in a post-match backstage press conference that he is the mystery competitor for this year’s upcoming Royal Road tournament.

The New York Times reported that CMLL and indies talent Flip Gordon recently signed a new multi-year contract with CMLL.

CMLL recently announced one new match for the card of their super Viernes event on August 15th at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico:

This past Friday’s High Intensity 2025 event for House of Glory in Jamaica, New York featured Bully Ray defeating Zilla Fatu to become the new HOG Crown Jewel Champion. Ray’s victory was notable for Ricochet making an appearance and interfering to help Ray win the title.
