As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler suffered a stroke earlier this month and is currently recovering at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.
FOX 13 Memphis held a recent interview with Lawler. One of the topics discussed included Lawler giving his thoughts about his recent stroke stating that he had not been taking his medication in the days leading to his stroke.
Lawler also gave his thoughts about how he is having trouble with his vision and didn’t even recognize his own house when he returned home to Memphis from Florida.
Lawler also stated that beyond that, he currently feels “pretty good.”
Lawler also gave his thoughts about him being thankful for all the support he has received from family members and others.
“I remember lying in the bed in the hospital and when people that I knew, like family members, came in and I didn’t even recognize them. People kept coming out of nowhere to thank me and to pray for me. All of that means such a great, great deal to me and I want to thank them for all that.”
