Saturday’s AEW Collision drew 248,000 viewers on TNT, up from the prior week show’s 184,000 viewers. That week’s show was notable for Collision returning to its normal start time after the prior week’s show was pre-empted to an earlier start time and being split up into two one-hour shows with Saturday’s show being the Saturday Tailgate Brawl special. That week’s show also went head-to-head against WWE’s NXT No Mercy 2025 event.
It drew a 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from the prior week show’s 0.04 rating.
The streaming viewership numbers for the simulcasts on HBO MAX is currently not known.
In regards to notable sports competition, the College Football game of Alabama vs. Georgia drew 10,759,000 viewers on ABC, the College Football game of Oregon vs. Penn State drew 7,605,000 viewers on CBS, the College Football game of Virginia Tech vs. Clemson drew 578,000 viewers on The CW, the College Football game of Arizona vs. Iowa State drew 1,149,000 viewers on ESPN, the Liga MX soccer game of Monterrey vs Santos Laguna drew 270,000 viewers on TUDN, and the Baseball Night in America game of Texas Rangers at Cleveland Guardians or Cincinnati Reds at Milwaukee Brewers drew 2,099,000 viewers on FOX.
Last year’s Collision show on September 28, 2024 drew 435,000 viewers and a 0.13 rating.
