Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured two new matches announced for the card of WrestleDream 2025, which takes place on October 18th at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.
The first new match announced was a Trios match of The Demand (Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun, & Ricochet) vs. Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, & Bobby Lashley).
This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the bad blood issues between The Demand and Hurt Syndicate. During tonight’s show, a video aired featuring The Demand talking about their Street Fight Trios loss to the Hurt Syndicate at AEW’s Title Tuesday 2025 show and stated that the chaos between them and the Hurt Syndicate is not over. Afterwards it was announced that The Demand and Hurt Syndicate will be having a Trios rematch at WrestleDream.
“The chaos continues!”

The second new match announced was a singles match of Thekla vs. Jamie Hayter.
This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Hayter’s bad blood issues with Thekla and Triangle of Madness. During tonight’s show, Triangle of Madness’ Thekla, Julia Hart, & Skye Blue were seen backstage for an interview with Lexy Nair about their Trios victory earlier in the show. Before Triangle of Madness could speak, Hayter and Queen Aminata showed up and attacked Triangle of Madness laying them all out. This led to security rushing out to break up the brawl and Hayter issuing a challenge to Thekla for a match at WrestleDream. Later in the show, it was announced that this match was made official for WrestleDream.
Triangle of Madness tried to comment on their match earlier in the night but were blindsided by @jmehytr and @amisylle!
