As noted before, Chuck Taylor retired from his in-ring career in 2024 due to ankle-injury related issues. Taylor last wrestled on the April 25, 2024 episode of AEW Rampage in a Parking Lot match against Trent Beretta.
Taylor provided an update earlier today on Instagram announcing that he had underwent successful neck surgery with the joking caption of “Got my neck cut off.”
Taylor has been with AEW since 2019 and has been working as a backstage producer for the company since his in-ring retirement.
