As Thea makes her way to the ring, Blake attacks Thea from behind and then sends her into the ring steps.  Blake hits Thea with a chair.  Thea is sent through the ringside barrier.  Officials have to hold Blake back while they check on Thea.

Winner: None. Thea Hail retains NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Ricky Saints makes his way to the ring.

In-Ring: Ricky Saints

Ricky says he guesses the North American title match is going to be put on pause so he wanted to give everyone a very special gift.  He is going to kick off 2026.  Ricky says you feel some way about him but he wanted to be honest.  Ricky says last year, he really needed NXT.  Now, NXT needs him.  Ricky says that is why Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams chose free agency.  As long as he is here, you cannot compete with what you cannot compare to.  There is room for only one star, and it is him.  Ricky says the sad truth about everyone in the locker room is that he ain’t going nowhere.  All of those athletes and independent guys, he is going to send you back to where you come from.  You might be talented, but you aren’t absolute.

He says he has been telling you that he is who he says he is.  He will keep proving that for 2026.  It has become abundantly clear that it is natural born stars versus stars they are trying to create.  He is not going to be wrong now, after being right for 20 years.

Ricky mentions Leon Slater and Oba Femi.  He does not care about either of them.  Leon, if you win, I will take care of you in due time.  Oba, we are one and one and that does not sit right in his spirit.  He will finish what he started last year.  Regardless of who wins, NXT will be in his hands as well as the NXT Championship.  Ricky says that is absolute.

Backstage: Ava, Robert Stone

Ava asks Robert Stone to make sure that things work tonight.  She sends him to find Blake.

Ava tells someone that Izzi and Tatum is happening and to run the video package.

Backstage: Ava, Blake Monroe

We are back and Ava mentions what Blake did.  

Ava says she tried to help Blake last week.

Blake says when you get the glamour, you get the hell.  She demands her title back.

Ava says she is not getting her match and she is banned from the building.

Tatum Paxley vs. Izzi Dame

Izzi with snake eyes and she sends Tatum into the turnbuckles.  Tatum with a chop and punches.  Izzi with a back heel kick.  Izzi with a biel and a running shoulder into the corner.  Izzi sends Tatum into the turnbuckles and Izzi misses a shoulder.  Tatum with a Boston Crab in the ropes.  Tatum with a double sledge.  Izzi begs for mercy but Tatum slaps her and she connects with elbows to the back.  Tatum drives the knee into the mat and follows with an enzuigiri.  Tatum goes to the apron and she hits a flip leg drop to the back of the neck.  Tatum is blocked by Izzi and Izzi pulls Tatum into the ropes and follows with a forearm to send Tatum to the floor.  Izzi runs Tatum into the announce table and apron.  Izzi with a choke slam onto the apron.  

Izzi gets a near fall.  Izzi with an Irish whip and elbow in the corner.  Izzi with an Irish whip and elbow into the corner.  Izzi with more back elbows and kicks in the corner.  Izzi with a bow and arrow around the ring post.  Izzi goes to the turnbuckles and hits a Code breaker for a near fall.  Izzi with a reverse chin lock.  Tatum escapes and clips Izzi.  Izzi with a reverse chin lock.  Izzi with a waist lock take down.  Tatum with back elbows and she sends Izzi into the ropes.  Both women with clotheslines at the same time and both are down.  Tatum with forearms and a kick.  Izzi with a back breaker.  Izzi catapuls Tatum into the top rope and she gets a near fall.  Izzi with a Liontamer but Tatum gets to the ropes to force a break.  Tatum with a back heel kick and Izzi misses a splash into the corner.  Izzi with a back elbow.

Izzi goes to the turnbuckles and Tatum with an enzuigiiri.  Tatum with a thrust kick.  Tatum slaps Izzi and Tatum climbs the turnbuckles.  Tatum with Spanish Fly and both are down.  They go face to face and Izzi slaps Tatum.  Tatum slaps back.  They continue with the slaps and Tatum with a jumping face buster.  Tatum with clotheslines and a kick.  Tatum with a German suplex but Izzi with a round kick.  Izzi with forearms in the ropes.  Izzi with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Izzi with a clothesline and she follows with a belly-to-back reverse suplex for a near fall.  Izzi with a spear and they go through the ropes to the floor.  Izzi sends Tatum into the ring steps.  They return to the ring.  Tatum with a Liger kick and she goes up top.  Tatum with a 450 splash and she goes for Cemetery Drive and hits it for the three count.

Winner: Tatum Paxley via Pinfall.

Kendal Grey and Jacy Jayne walk down their respective paths to the ring with their respective allies.

Backstage: Jordynne Grace, Thea Hail, Ava

We are back and Thea is with Jordynne Grace and Ava.

Ava mentions Jordynne standing up to Jade on Smackdown.

She tells Thea she is going to put off the title match and Blake is gone.

Thea wants the match and wants Blake back.  She wants an open challenge.

Jordynne convinces Ava to allow Thea to have the open challenge.

NXT Women’s Championship
Kendal Grey vs. Jacy Jayne (c)

They lock up and Grey with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Jacy with a head scissors and Grey escapes.  Grey with a waist lock take down and a cross arm breaker but Jacy gets to the ropes to force the break.  Jacy with a kick and punches.  Jacy with an Irish whip but Grey with a back elbow and she floats over and goes through the legs and hits a drop kick.  Jacy goes to the floor again and Grey goes up top and hits a moonsault on Jacy, Fallon, and Lainey.  Grey goes for a slingshot move back into the ring but Jacy goes to the floor.  Jacy trips Grey but Grey with an arm bar.  Jacy drops Grey on the ringside barrier and hits a cannonball, but the barrier does not break.  They return to the ring and Jacy wtih a back senton for a near fall.

Jacy with an Irish whip and a running hip into the corner.  Jacy with a snap mare and kick to the back.  Jacy with a back heel kick for a near fall.  Jacy chokes Grey in the ropes and then sends Grey into the turnbuckles.  Jacy with a back elbow and she gets a near fall.  Jacy works on the back.  Grey with a rollup for a near fall.  Grey with a sunset flip but Jacy rolls through and kicks Grey in the chest.  Grey struggles to get back to her feet and Jacy sends Grey into the turnbuckles.  Jacy with a snap mare and elbows to the back of the neck.  Jacy with a reverse chin lock.  Jacy with a rear chin lock and she leans back in a clutch.  Grey gets to her feet and Grey with elbows.  Jacy with a neck breaker.  Jacy with knees to the ribs and she gets a near fall.

Jacy with a cravate.  Grey backs Jacy into the corner but Jacy sends Grey into the turnbuckles.  Grey with a kick and a cross body for a near fall.  Jacy misses a boot and they both go for cross bodies and both go down.  Grey with a punch and Jacy punches back.  They go back and forth.  Jacy with a series of kicks and she shows her mone maker.  Jacy grabs Grey by the throat and Grey grabs Jacy and hits a series of back elbows followed by a German suplex.  The straps are down and she trips Jacy and hits a slingshot double stomp.  Grey with a hesitation DDT from the corner and she gets a naer fall.  Jacy sends Grey to the apron and Grey with a kick.  Grey goes up top and Jacy hits the ropes to crotch her.  Jacy with a hanging swinging neck breaker for a near fall.

Jacy punches Grey.  Jacy misses a cannonball into the corner when Grey moves.  Grey with two German suplexes but Jacy with a knee for a near fall.  Jacy goes up top but Kendal with a superplex.  Jacy misses a knee and Grey wtih a rollup for a near fall.  Jacy rolls through for a near fall.  Grey with a cross arm breaker but Fallon gets in the ring and that allows Lainey to pull Grey to the floor.  Grey stops Reid.  Fallon and Wren fight on the apron and Jacy knocks Wren off the apron.Grey with a cross arm breaker   Jacy gets a near fall.  Fallon holds on to Jacy to stop a flatliner from Grey and Jacy gets the three count.

Winner: Jacy Jayne via Pinfall to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

Backstage: Ava, “All Ego” Ethan Page, The Vanity Project

Ava says he is the last person she wants to talk about.

Ethan says he wants to talk about his title reign and how he beat Moose.  Ethan says he is a record setter.  Twelve title match victories in 2025.

Ava asks about the other people with 12 wins.

Ethan brings up the live events he had to defend against.

Ethan says he is going to go to the ring.

Ava asks if there is a catch.

Ethan calls in the boys and Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor arrive.

NXT Women’s North American Championship Open Challenge Match
Izzi Dame vs. Thea Hail (c)

Thea says she knows her win was controversial.  She says she is devastated that Blake attacked her because she wanted this match.  She says she promised the fans a title match.  She says she needs to prove that she deserves this title.  

Tatum holds people off with her chainsaw but Izzi attacks Thea from behind.

Izzi kicks Thea and runs her into the turnbuckles.  Izzi with shoulders.  Izzi with a running TKO for a near fall.  Thea with a back elbow and kick.  Izzi with punches and forearms.  Izzi with a slam.  Izzi gets Thea on her shoulders but Thea with a sunset flip and Izzi blocks it.  Thea with a victory roll for a near fall.  Izzi with an Oklahoma Stampede for a near fall.  Izzi kicks Thea and Irish whips her into the corner.  Izzi with a shoulder.  Izzi stands on Thea’s back.  Izzi with an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner.  Izzi kicks Thea in the corner.  Izzi goes to the turnbuckles for a Code breaker and she gets a near fall.  Izzi chokes Thea in the ropes.  Izzi with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker.  Izzi with a knee against the ropes.

Izzi with a snap mare and a rear chin lock.  Thea gets back to her feet and Izzi kicks Thea.  Izzi works on the injured ribs and kicks Thea.  Izzi goes for a slam but Thea counters with a DDT.  Thea with a back heel kick and more kicks.  Izzi with a forearm.  Thea with running double sledges.  Izzi with an Irish whip and Thea floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Izzi with a forearm.  Izzi with a slam but she misses an elbow drop.  Thea with a barrel roll and she sets for teh Warrior Coffin drop but Izzi gets her knees up.  Izzi with a boot for a near fall.  Izzi goes for a bear hug but Thea goes for the kimura.  Izzi runs Thea into the turnbuckles.

Izzi misses an elbow in the corner and Thea with an exploder.  Izzi rolls to the floor and Thea with a suicide dive but Izzi catches Thea and choke slams her onto the announce table.  The referee starts his count and Izzi remembers that count outs don’t give her the title.  Izzi sends Thea back into the ring and she goes to the turnbuckles.  Thea stops Izzi. Thea with punches and she goes or the kimura on the turnbuckles.  Izzi with a sit out power bomb from the turnbuckles for the three count.

Winner: Izzi Dame via Pinfall to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion.

Backstage: Lola Vice, The Vanity Project, Hank & Tank, Kelani Jordan

Brad, Jackson, and Ricky show up to hit on Lola and Hank and Tank show up.

Vanity Project decides to leave.

Lola says she was about to knock them out.

They talk about the North American title match.  

Lola reminds them she beat Izzi recently but she has to deal with Kelani Jordan.

Kelani Jordan shows up and she is throwing shoes.  

People show up to separate them.

Backstage: Ava, Joe Hendry

Joe Hendry enters Ava’s office.  

He says he is looking for a fight.  He says Dark State ruined his concert and he is sick of them.  He says he wants Dion Lennox next week in a No DQ match.

Ava says she gets his determination, but if you get a No DQ match, it will be a handicap match.

Joe says if he can find people to make sure it is a one-on-one match, will she make the match.

Ava says she will give him the match if he can do that.

In-Ring: “All Ego” Ethan Page, Jasper Troy, Josh Briggs, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Arianna Grace, Shiloh Hill, Tavion Heights

We are back and Ethan Page is in the ring.

He says it is fitting that they celebrate the new year by honoring the most dominant superstar, him.  He says he is a big game hunter because last week he bagged a Moose.  He sent him back to TNA empty handed to prove that he is the greatest North American alive.  In a few short moments, Oba Femi will defend his title against Leon Slater.  They are not the main event, Ethan says he is.  He says the North American title is the most prestigious title in all of WWE.  That title that Oba Femi holds, it is funny that Oba is their world champion but only defends the title in only one part of North America.  Ethan says he has defended in multiple countries against multiple opponents from multiple companies.  He is an international icon.

Jasper Troy interrupts.

He says Ethan acts like the only champion that matters.  He will prove that he is the best big man in NXT and that he is the monster of NXT.

Ethan tells Jasper he doesn’t have to get in the ring.

Jasper says he has run through LFG and he won the Speed title.  He says this isn’t the last title he will hold in 2026.

Josh Briggs comes out and he says no one is on his level.  You are not the best big man in NXT.

Josh tells Ethan to stop wasting his time with losers like Myles Borne.  He says Ethan is as delusional as the mouth breathers in the crowd.

Channing Lorenzo shows up and he says he hates to interrupt things but he tells Ethan they have unfinished business.  After all that has happened in the last year, he is the only person from NXT carrying TNA gold.  You want to call yourself an international icon, Channing says he is as international as it gets because he is the international champion.  Channing says that he is racking up victories in TNA and NXT and they are as big as they get.

Shiloh Hill interrupts and he says he is glad to see that Channing is in a better mood this time.  He says maybe he ruined his Christmas.  After that victory, your father-in-law and Ava had a conversation.  It looks like your title reign will be short lived because they will meet next week for the title.

Tavion Heights comes out and he says this is his type of party.  He says he loves everything that was being said but he is going to fix things.  He tells Jasper he will be flying Air Heights next week and he will be the new NXT Speed champion.

Ethan says he cannot believe Jasper is letting Heights talk like this.

Heights misses Page and he punches Troy.  Everyone starts fighting and sending people to the floor.  Shiloh stops Grace from slapping him and they dance.  Grace and Channing are sent to the floor.

Backstage: Joe Hendry, OTM, Fatal Influence, ZaRuca

We are back and Joe asks Nima and Price to help him but they have nothing to worry about.  They say they only care about the titles.  

Joe tells them if they get involved with Dark State, they get closer to the tag titles.  

They say they will see him next week.

Jacy, Fallon, and Lainey walk in the back and they stop to talk to Sol Ruca and Zaria.

They talk about how Sol doesn’t have any titles. 

Sol says she will be coming for Jacy’s title.

Backstage: “All Ego” Ethan Page, Myles Borne, Tate Wilder

Ethan walks in the back and Myles talks to Tate Wilder.

Ethan wants to know where Myles was and Myles says he didn’t have anything to do with that situation.

Ethan tells Tate to learn from him while he stays in Evolve.

He says Myles wasn’t involved in that segment because it was for champions and challengers.

Tate tells Myles not to let it bother him and Myles says too late.

They lock up and Oba backs Leon into the corner and he biels Leon across the ring.  They lock up and Leon with a waist lock but Oba tosses him to the mat.  Oba with a wrist lock.  Oba sends Leon back to the mat.  Oba with a punch and he wrings the arm and connects with a shoulder.  Oba with an elbow to the back of the neck.  Oba with punches to the midsection.  Leon with chops but Oba chops Leon and Leon goes down.  Oba with a reverse chin lock.  Oba with punches and Leon escapes a slam.  Leon with a back heel kick and then he goes for a springboard move but Oba catches Leon and hits a back breaker.  Oba sends Leon over the turnbuckles to the floor.  Oba sends Leon into the apron.  Oba with a back drop driver on the apron.  Leon with a punch and kicks.  Oba with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.

Oba blocks the kick and hits a clothesline.  Oba with a uranage back breaker and he stretches Leon over his knee.  Leon with punches and Oba tosses Leon into the turnbuckles.  Oba kicks Leon in the back.  Oba with punches and a reverse chin lock.  Leon escapes a German suplex and lands on his feet.  Slater with a drop kick.  Leon with a head scissors to send Oba to the loor.  Leon goes to the apron and Oba chops Leon.   Oba with knees and Leon moves and Oba’s knee hits the ring post.  Leon kicks Oba in the leg.  Oba sends Leon to the apron and Leon sends Oba into the ring steps.  Leon goes up top and he hits a cross body for a near fall.  Leon kicks Oba in the back of the leg.  Oba with a clothesline and he sets or a choke slam and hits it.  Oba gets a near fall.  Oba sets for a running uppercut and connects.  Oba with a second one.  Oba’s leg goes out on the third attempt.  Leon with a flying leg lariat.

Leon goes for a slam and he does it.  Leon gets a near fall.  Oba rolls to the apron and Leon goes for a springboard clothesline.  Oba catches Leon and Leon kicks Oba to the floor.  Leon with a flip dive over the ring post onto Oba.  Leon sends Oba back into the ring and Leon goes up top for the swanton 450 but Oba gets his knee up.  Oba gets a near fall but Leon with a crucifix for a near fall.  Leon with a thrust kick and Oba with a power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Oba Femi via Pinfall to retain the NXT Championship.

After the match, Oba celebrates in the ring.

Backstage: Ava, WWE EVOLVE Locker Room, Robert Stone

Ava says there will be a lot of opportunities in NXT.  Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Lash Legend, and Jordynne Grace are on the main roster.

Robert Stone shows up and he asks Ava if she saw what Oba did.

We go to the ring and the title belt is in the ring.
