WWE Reportedly Planning to Reduce Ads for WWE RAW Shows on Netflix

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have implemented new plans to reduce the amount of commercial breaks during WWE RAW shows on Netflix.

It was reported that RAW shows would be reduced from the usual 12 breaks per show to a new format of 10 breaks per show. It was also reported that this new plan was first immplenented with this past Monday’s show.

It was also reported that it is currently not know if WWE plans to lengthen the commerical breaks to make up for the reduction.

WWE’s new plan would be in response to complaints from viewers about the heavy number of ads during WWE shows.

WWE Considering Plans to Move Start Time for Jan. 24th WWE SNME Show

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials recently held internal discussions regarding potentially moving the start time for their upcoming next Saturday Night’s Main Event show on January 24th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

It was reported that while the upcoming show is currently scheduled to air starting at 8:00PM EST, WWE officials are considering moving the start time due to UFC’s upcoming UFC 324 event on Paramount+ that same night, which will be UFC’s debut event on the service.

WWE officials reportedly have considered changing the start time to a hour earlier at 7PM EST due to UFC’s event being scheduled to start at 9:00PM EST.

Jordynne Grace Comments on Her WWE Main Roster Call-up

As noted before, last Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Berlin, Germany featured the announcement of NXT talent Jordynne Grace officially joining WWE’s SmackDown brand roster.

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Grace as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Grace’s thoughts about her recently joining WWE’s main roster.

“I think that I’ve always kind of dreamed of what my debut in WWE would be like, in a singles match, and I think that I kind of hit the nail on the head there. I came out on top. I made my point basically, and then Jade (Cargill) came out and she took that moment away from me.

I’m really excited too. I was in NXT for about the past year and I didn’t know what I was gonna come into when I (was) brought up to the main roster but I think that it was a long time to wait but I think that this was the perfect timing.”
