Dani Luna & Leon Slater Pulled, Zaria vs. Lei Ying Lee for TNA Knockouts Title, Frankie Kazarian vs. Mike Santana for TNA World Title, and More Matches Set for TNA Genesis 2026 [Update: Texas Deathmatch Stip Set for TNA World Title Match]

Following Thursday’s live Impact! show, TNA announced one newly updated match for the card of Genesis 2026.

This newly updated match was a TNA World Championship Texas Deathmatch of Frankie Kazarian vs. Mike Santana (c).

This newly updated match was setup following a post-show brawl segment involving Nic Nemeth and Santana after Nemeth had attempted to cash in his Call Your Shot trophy. Daria Rae and Santino Marella put an end to the brawl after TNA security came out and announced that Santana would be defending his title in a Texas Deathmatch with Nemeth as the special guest referee.

Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show in Garland, Texas featured two changes made and four new matches announced for the card of Genesis 2026, which takes place on January 17th at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

In regards to the changes made, it was announced that Dani Luna and Leon Slater have been pulled from the show due to visa related issues.

In regards to the new matches, the first new match announced was a TNA Knockouts World Championship match of Zaria vs. Lei Ying Lee (c).

The second new match announced was a singles match of Ryan Nemeth vs. Mara Sade.

The third new match announced was a Three-way match of Cedric Alexander vs. Joe Hendry vs. Moose.
