As noted before, former NXT General Manager Ava, real name Simone Garcia Johnson, departed from WWE this past Friday following her not renewing her contract with the company.
Ava issued her first comments in a now deleted tweet since her departure of WWE that were political in nature. This involved Ava ranting against ICE and their recent actions and also against the current Trump Administration running the United States.
“Now that i can say this with my full chest, 🖕🏽 ice and that entire administration.”
Ava became the second person associated with WWE, following WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, that has publicly called out the current Trump administration over controversial actions committed by President Trump or a government group working under Trump that resulted in them no longer being associated or wanting to work with WWE.
President Donald Trump currently has several ties to WWE including Linda McMahon being the current Secretary of Education and WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque being a member of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.
