Backstage Update on WWE’s Upcoming New Talent Tryouts & Names Confirmed To Be Attending

Fightful Select reported that while the initial belief was that indie talents Notorious Mimi and Airica Demia were attending WWE’s tryouts this past January, those spoken to stated that both wrestlers are being “actively recruited” for an upcoming new talent tryouts instead at the Performance Center.

Those spoken to stated that Demia is confirmed to be attending a tryout sessions next week for WWE.

Both Mimi and Demia confirmed their upcoming tryouts with WWE on Instagram. Mimi posted a “Your Invited WWE Tryout” photo and stated “redemption arc loading🤍 @wwerecruit.” Demia also posted a similar photo and stated “Next week is going to be so Kawaii.”

Mimi has been wrestling since July of 2018 and had previously worked for WWE in their NXT developmental system under the ring name of Sloane Jacobs in 2022. Demia has been wrestling since January of 2023.

It was reported that additional names currently being under consideration for WWE’s upcoming new tryouts includes Nikki Blackheart and Fallyn Grey.

Blackheart confirmed her upcoming tryout on Instagram stating “The biggest pinch me moment 🖤 I was officially invited to the @wwe try out. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for all the moments experienced, all the people that have helped me in my journey, my coach, my loved ones, my classmates, all the promoters that took a chance on me, my @lodestone_est2025 girls, and all my supporters that believed in me from day one. I have so much more to say, but for now all I can say is THANK YOU !! 🖤And I’m ready to earn my place @wwerecruit”

It was also reported that an additional unnamed talent is also likely to receive a tryout but they are currently looking to confirm who this person is.
