WWE reportedly will no longer be holding their February 24th WWE NXT show in Atlanta, Georgia, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that this upcoming show will no longer be taking place at the Center Stage and instead is now expected to take place at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
In regards to the reason for the move, Johnson reported that those spoken to stated that the reason is due to a local permit issue involving WWE’s production trucks that were planned to be set up in a parking lot next to the venue. This lot reportedly had been sold off making it “far harder and less feasible to mount the broadcast production.”
Johnson reported that this issue would have required additional permits to stage WWE’s production trucks for the show in Atlanta.
No official announcement had been made yet by WWE regarding the status of this upcoming NXT show but it is expected to be made within the coming days.
