As noted before, Nixon Newell, former Tegan Nox in WWE, announced this past November that 2026 will be the final year of her in-ring wrestling career.
In a recent response to a fan question on Instagram, Newell stated that her retirement match for her wrestling career “more than likely” will be taking place this December.

Newell has been wrestling since 2013. Following her release from WWE in November of 2024, Newell made her return to the indies in March of 2025 and competed in her first match since July of 2024. Newell was later involved in two backstage incidents during her brief time in AEW that resulted in her and Miranda Alize walking out of the company over booking related issues this past November.
