Britt Baker has been absent from AEW since November of 2024.
SI Red Carpet held a recent interview with Baker. One of the topics discussed included Baker’s thoughts about her not being retired from her wrestling career for a reason for her current lengthy abscense away from the ring.
“I would not say I’m retired, no.”
Baker also gave her thoughts about her message to her fans and her thanks for the support they have shown towards her.
“I just love that the fans are still talking about me. Keep the chatter up because I love it. Stay tuned.”
Baker also gave her thoughts about how she no longer works as a full-time dentist due to safety reasons over threats from some wrestling fans.
“As much as I love the wrestling fans, they are a little passionate, sometimes for their own good and my own safety. It got a little carried away sometimes with some scary wrestling fans wanting to come kill me because I’m a bad guy.”
