AEW’s Debut Plans for Tommaso Ciampa Reportedly Was Delayed
As noted before, Tommaso Ciampa’s contract with WWE expired this past January and made his official debut for AEW at the January 28th AEW Dynamite show in Cedar Park, Texas.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW officials had originally planned for Ciampa to make his official debut for the company at their January 24th episode of AEW Collision.
Those plans reportedly were delayed due to AEW needing to tape that show during the January 21st AEW Dynamite taping instead due to the severe winter weather issues affecting the Dallas, Texas area that Saturday.
It was reported that AEW’s original plans were for Ciampa to defeat Briscoe for the TNT Championship on the January 24th Collision show before the plans were delayed.
It was reported that Ciampa was not moved to the Alumni section on WWE’s roster page until January 28th, which was several days after he had signed a contract with AEW contract and had already planned to join the company. Ciampa reportedly was kept “well hidden” until his official debut in AEW.
“F*ck ICE” Chants Break Out Again at Feb. 25th AEW Dynamite Show
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado was notable for the crowd chanting “Fuck ICE” prior to the start of the singles match between Mark Davis and Brody King.
During the match, the crowd started a stereo chant of “Fuck Don Callis” in reference to Davis being a member of the Don Callis Family and “Fuck ICE too” in reference of King being a vocal critic of ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) controversial actions towards American citizens and immigrants recent months.

Queen Aminata Neck Injury Update
As noted before, Queen Aminata has been out of action for AEW since this past November due to a neck-related injury.
Aminata recently released a new vlog on her official YouTube channel. One of the topics discussed included Aminata providing an update on her recovery stating that she was getting a medical check up on her neck by AEW doctors at AEW’s Dynamite show on Wednesday in Denver, Colorado.
“I was supposed to fly on Tuesday to go to TV in LA to get my neck checked because I did my MRI, and everything is looking good…not great, good. I hope to be back pretty soon. Doc changed my schedule and I won’t be back at TV until the 25th in Denver. Hopefully, everything looks good so I can get back in the ring and start rolling around, taking that first bump, which is very scary.”
