Westside Xtreme Wrestling announced earlier today that they have pulled Ricky Sosa from their upcoming 16 Carat Gold 2026 event on March 6-8 in Oberhausen, Germany due to him having a “major career opportunity.”
It was also announced that they were given a short notice about this new schedule conflict booking for Sosa.

wXw European Champion @rickysosa508 is unfortunately unavailable for the 16 Carat Gold Tournament due to a major career opportunity that has come up at short notice. We wish him the best of luck. However, Ricky will be in Oberhausen on Sunday at the 16 Carat Tournament.”

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that this new “major career opportunity” for Sosa was him being booked by TNA Wrestling for their upcoming TNA Impact! tapings on March 5-6 in Atlanta, Georgia. It was reported that it is currently not known if Sosa has been signed with TNA.
