Johnny Consejo (Johnny TV) Loses Hair Match at Feb. 27th Super Viernes Show

Friday’s CMLL Super Viernes show at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured Angel de Oro defeated Johnny Consejo, also known as Johnny TV in AEW & ROH, in a Lucha de Apuestas, Hair vs. Hair match.

As a result of his loss, Consejo had his head shaved as per stipulation of the match.

Persephone vs. Mercedes Mone for CMLL Women’s World Title Set for CMLL Women’s Day 2026

Friday’s CMLL Super Viernes show also featured Persephone defeating Olympia in a CMLL Women’s World Championship Eliminator Series match.

As a result of her victory, Persephone will be facing off against Mercedes Mone for the CMLL Women’s World Championship at CMLL’s Women’s Day 2026 event on March 6th in Mexico City.

Tornado & Rey Pegasus Wins CMLL Torneo de Escuelas 2026

Friday’s CMLL Super Viernes show also featured Escuela Magia Blanca (Tornado & Rey Pegasus) defeating Escuela Ultimo Guerrero (Estudiante Jr. & Feroz) and Escuela Queretaro (Pantera Jr. & Psycotic) in a Three-way match for the Finals of the CMLL Torneo de Esuelas (Schools Tournament) to become the winners of this year’s tournament.
