Brodie Lee Jr Challenges Joey Janela For GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break X
Saturday’s Baller Blockin’ event for Game Changer Wrestling in Hartford, Connecticut featured Joey Janela defeating The Blade in a singles match. Brodie Lee Jr. came out with Janela to be in his corner for his match against The Blade on the show.
Following the match, Janela asked Lee Jr. to b in his corner at this April’s GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break X. Lee Jr. responded back issuing a challenge to Janela for a match between the two at the show instead. Janela declined saying that he was only 14 years old and Lee Jr. responded back telling Janela “stop being Megan Bayne’s bitch.”
This led to Janela responding back with a slap to Lee Jr. and followed it with a piledriver laying him out.

Janela refused cause he’s not old enough yet.
Brodie called him “Megan Bayne’s b*tch” and that struck a nerve.

Ridge Holland Provides Update on His Recovery from Lisfranc Injury & Surgery
As noted before, former WWE talent Ridge Holland, real name Luke Menzies, has been out of action from wrestling since this past September due to a lisfranc injury.
A recent episode of The Mike Rand Show podcast featured Menzies as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Menzies providing an update on his recovery from his Lisfranc injury.
“I’m feeling really good. Honestly, tons better than what I was. I had the foot surgery in early October. Then I had the double cervical disc replacement in early November, and then just this past Friday, I had the hardware taken out of the foot. So, fingers crossed that’s the last time I’m going to get cut for a while. I’m kind of over surgeries. I feel like I’ve donated my body to medical science recently. But I’m feeling good, man. I’m optimistic about the future.”
Menzies also gave his thoughts about how he was feeling during this period and how it was challenging for him mentally.
“Very challenging just from a mental standpoint. I’m a very active individual. Having to be laid up and rely on other people, my wife’s been a big support, and obviously not being able to kind of be active with the kids has been a big thing. But you’ve got to kind of take a step back and realize that it’s all for the greater good and to recover because you don’t want anything to push it too hard or push it too far. It impacts your recovery, and the last thing I want to do is be out of action or not be able to be fully functional for longer than I need to be.”
