Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker Arrest Trial Update
As noted before, a man named Shawn Chan was arrested this past June outside of WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida over charges of him being an alleged stalker of Liv Morgan. Chan was issued federal charges related to a stalking incident at Morgan’s home, which Morgan was away from at the time. Chan had filed a notice of insanity defense this past December leading to his trial start date being delayed to a new date of this March.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division issued a ruling on February 27th officially delaying the trial to this May instead.
Johnson reported that recent court records stated that Chan was undergoing a “psychological examination” and that his right to a speedy trial had been paused until that is completed.
Johnson also reported that the prosecution currently expects to need three days to present their case against Chan once it goes to trial while the defense has not stated how long they expect to need to present their case before the court.
Zaria Comments on Her Current Run in WWE & Revealed Visa Issues Delayed Her Arrival in the U.S. After Her WWE Signing
Gerard Whateley held a recent interview with NXT talent Zaria. One of the topics discussed included Zaria’s thoughts about her current run in WWE and how her time in WWE has been the best job she has ever had.
“It’s awesome. I have never been so busy in my life. This job is so crazy and chaotic, getting to travel all around America. I wouldn’t change it for the world. This is the best job I’ve ever had.”
Zaria also gave her thoughts about how she has worked her way through who Zaria is as a performer in WWE.
“I mean, being in the Performance Center in Orlando constantly every day, we are training, we are learning, but more so like, I feel like how much we have to, how much hard work we put in, and how much traveling we do. You really, you really learn about yourself on those travel days.”
Zaria also gave her thoughts about her transition from living at home in Australia to moving to the United States in 2024 and how visa issues had delayed her arrival and start in WWE’s NXT brand.
“I didn’t move to Orlando until August of 2024, and I had my tryout, I believe it was the beginning of February of 2024. So I thought I would have to have moved in June or July, but there were like some visa issues. So it gave me a little bit longer to be in Australia. So, I had about, what is that? Like four or five months where I was able to just sort of wrap things up in Australia and just wrap my head around the fact that I’d be living in America in the WWE.”
