As noted before, this past Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event featured MJF defeating Hangman Adam Page in a Texas Death Match to retain the AEW World Championship. This match was notable for featuring the stipulation of if Page lost, then he could never challenge for the AEW World title ever again. This stipulation was later revealed by AEW CEO Tony Khan during the post-show media scrum to be a “verbal contract” between him and Page and not a written one.
Figthful Select reported that their sources stated that Page is currently expected to take some time off from AEW television following this past Sunday’s Revolution 2026 event.
It was reported that it is currently not known if Page’s abscense will begin immediately or if he will return to Dynamite in the coming weeks before officially leaving for his break.
It was also reported that there is currently no timetable for how long Page will be away nor a potential return date.
