Gisele Shaw vs. Deonna Purrazzo for ROH Women’s Pure Title and Six-Man Tag Team Matches Announced for MLP x ROH Global Wars Canada

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling recently announced two new matches for the card of their co-promoted ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada event, which takes place on March 27th at the St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

The first new match announced was a ROH Women’s Pure Championship match of Gisele Shaw vs. Deonna Purrazzo (c).

The second new match announced was Six-Man Tag Team match of Jay Lethal & The Swirl (Lee Johnson & Blake Christian) vs. Máscara Dorada, Bhupinder Gujjar, & Psycho Mike.

Josh Barnett recently announced one new match for the card of Game Changer Wrestling’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XV event on April 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This new match announced was a singles match of Timothy Thatcher vs. Charlie Dempsey.

Not the first time these two have met in the ring, but the first time that they meet in the hardest hitting event in all of Professional Wrestling: Josh Barnett's: Bloodsport.

Disney recently released a new trailer for their upcoming live-action Moana film, which co-stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. This upcoming new film is scheduled to be released on July 10th in theaters.

Variety reported that their sources stated that Paramount recently cancelled their Star Trek: Starfleet Academy television series. It was reported that production on its second season wrapped up and will air on schedule on Paramount+. This series features Becky Lynch among its cast. Lynch portrays Lieutenant Mackenzie Ya on the series.

Arena Football One League announced that WWE Hall of Famer and AEW talent and personality Jeff Jarrett recently joined the Nashville Kats team as their new co-owner and managing partner.

Revolution Pro Wrestling recently announced that this year’s co-promoted CMLL x RevPro Fantasticamania UK event will be taking place on October 17th in Wolverhampton, England. Similar to previous years, this year’s event will be a two-show event with a morning show and an evening show taking place on that same day.

DDT Pro Wrestling recently announced that Kazusada Higuchi will be retiring from his in-ring wrestling career due to him recently suffering a cervical vertebrae injury. It was also announced that Higuchi will not be competing in a retirement match and instead a retirement ceremony will be held for him at their April 5th event in Tokyo, Japan.

DDT Pro also recently announced current KO-D Openweight Champion Yuki Ueno will be out of action for the company due to a retinal tear. Ueno provided an update on Twitter stating that he had underwent eye laser surgery.

As noted before, indies wrestler Filthy” Tom Lawlor has been out of action since this past July due to hip replacement and spinal-related issues and surgery. Lawlor provided an update on Monday on Twitter revealing that he had made a return to the ring at an indies event for Relentless Wrestling on March 21st in Airway Heights, Washington.

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that Tombstone Jesus, Mullet Man, Tara Zep, andKJ Orso are the next set of official competitors for the Clusterf*ck match at their GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break: The Immortal Clusterf*ck event on April 18th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

NJPW recently announced the full card for their Road to Sakura Genesis event on April 2nd in Tokyo, Japan.
