AEW Collision Taping Spoilers for April 2nd Episode in Winnipeg, Canada – AEW Talent Makes Surprise Return

AEW held a new television tapings for AEW Collision on Wednesday at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

This taping was held as part of that night’s AEW Dynamite taping at the same venue.

This taping will be for this week’s Collision show on Thursday, April 2nd.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, Hikaru Shida made a surprise return appearance. Shida was revealed as the mystery opponent for Willow Nightingale’s Open Challenge match for the TBS Championship. This was Shida’s first appearance in AEW since November of 2024.

Full results from AEW Collision tapings on April 1:

  • FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeated Mo Jabari & London Lightning. Following the match, Adam Copeland & Christian Cage came out leading to security coming out trying to stop them. This led to a brawl breaking out between FTR and Copeland & Cage that ended with security intervening to prevent Copeland & Cage from hitting a Conchairto to Cash.
  • The Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) defeated Ava Lawless & Kristara
  • TBS Championship Open Challenge match – Willow Nightingale (c) defeated Hikrau Shida
  • AEW Continental Championship Eliminator match – Jon Moxley defeated Anthony Bowens. Following the match, Will Ospreay ran out and attacked Moxley leading to the Death Riders pulling Moxley out of the ring after Ospreay went to get a chair.
  • Tommaso Ciampa defeated Juice Robinson
  • Don Callis Family (Andrade El Idolo & Mark Davis) defeated The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier)
  • 8-Man Tornado Tag Team match – The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong), Kevin Knight, & Mistico defeated Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli) & The Dogs (Clark Connors & David Finlay)
