PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that current TNA World Champion Mike Santana’s contract with TNA Wrestling is currently set to expire this summer.
Johnson reported that the exact date for Santana’s contract expiration is currently not known but he is expected to generate interest from outside of TNA once he becomes available on the market. Johnson also reported that WWE is expected to pursue Santana once he hits free agency.
It was not reported if any other promotions are currently interested in signing him, including AEW where he worked there from August of 2019 until March of 2024.
Santana has been signed with TNA since April of 2024 following a previous stint from March of 2017 to August of 2019.
