As noted before, TNA Wrestling recently changing their policy no longer allowing contracted TNA talents to work on the same indies shows as AEW talents. This new policy specially targets matches that are booked featuring contracted TNA talents competing against contracted AEW talents on these shows. TNA released an official statement confirming the new policy and stated that they have pulled their talents from upcoming indies shows due to “partner conflicts.” Among the matches confirmed to have been pulled was an unannounced match involving Moose at Maple Leaf Pro’s upcoming Multiverse event in Las Vegas.
WrestleCon announced earlier today that TNA X-Division Leon Slater has been pulled from his scheduled singles match against Ricochet at their upcoming Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow 2026 event on April 16th in Las Vegas due to issues beyond their control.
“Despite being previously cleared by all parties and respective management, Leon Slater has been pulled from this match one week prior to our Memorial event. We will have more to say at a later time, but we wanted to be immediately transparent to all fans.”

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources confirmed that the previously scheduled singles match between Nic Nemeth and AEW World Champion MJF for Create-A-Pro’s upcoming Monumental Moment event on May 1st in Melville, New York has been officially pulled due to TNA’s involvement.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that TNA also had blocked a planned match involving Bear Bronson against MJF for an event for Game Changer Wrestling this past March. This match reportedly was blocked before it could be officially announced for GCW’s event.
Following his match against Nic Nemeth being cancelled for Create-A-Pro’s event, MJF responded on Twitter calling out TNA President Carlos Silva stating that Silva doesn’t care about the fans nor his TNA roster getting paid.
“Welp.
Nic Nemeth and TNA are afraid of the AEW World Champion. Shame old, Carlos doesn’t care about the fans or his roster getting paid.
I’ll still be there @CreateAPro
Let’s see if Nicky still has the balls to show up to Long Island. In the meantime. I’m in Canada. Anxiously waiting to hear “god” Kenny omega try to convince the world I’m not gonna whoop his ass on April 12th. #aewdynamite
Welp.
