La Catalina Reportedly Expected To Sign with AAA
As noted before, La Catalina departed from CMLL earlier this month due to her not renewing her contract with the company. La Catalina’s departure from CMLL is believed to be due to her being unhappy her booking in the company after just being featured as an extra or “filler” talent at CMLL shows in recent times.
TheCubsFan reported that his sources stated that La Catalina is currently expected to be joining Lucha Libre AAA and signing a contract with the company.
It was reported that those spoken to stated that La Catalina is currently expected to make her official debut for AAA at this Saturday’s AAA TV show.
TheCubsFan reported that La Catalina will be the first notable CMLL talent to move over to AAA since WWE’s aquisition of AAA in April of 2025.
The Crash Lucha Libre Suspends Alberto El Patron From Promotion Following His Domestic Violence Arrest
As noted before, Alberto El Patron, real name José Alberto Rodríguez Chucuan, was arrested in Mexico this past Monday over charges of domestic violence towards his wife.
The Crash Lucha Libre recently issued an official statement on Instagram announcing that they have suspended El Patron from the company due to his recent arrest.
“THROUGH THIS MEDIUM THE CRASH LUCHA LIBRE IS A COMPANY WITH VALUES THAT PROMOTES SPORT ENTERTAINMENT IN A FAMILY WAY, AND DISAPPROVES ANY ACT OF VIOLENCE, FOR THIS REASON WE WILL SUSPEND ALBERTO DEL RIÓ “EL PATRÓN” FROM OUR PROGRAMMING AFTER THE RECENT EVENTS.”

Bandido recently reflected on Instagram about him reaching the milestone of one year as the current ROH World Champion this past Monday.
