Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their Multiverse event, which takes place on April 17th at the Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This new match announced was a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match of Jonathan Gresham vs. Hechicero (c).

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show on AMC and Sportsnet 360 featured TNA Hall of Famer and current WWE producer Chris “Abyss” Parks making a surprise appearance. Abyss was seen at the end of the Undead Realm segment on the show after Rosemary and Father James Mitchell were talking about how nothing is free in the Undead Realm and Rosemary brought Mitchell to Abyss. Abyss told Mitchell that he was sorry and he had sinned.
Thursday’s TNA Impact! show on AMC and Sportsnet 360 also featured TNA Authority figure Daria Rae “suspending indefinitely” TNA Director Santino Marella and Indi Hartwell after their actions involving the two attacking TNA Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo in the women’s locker room. Rae specifically suspended Hartwell after Hartwell had accidentally touched her during her telling Marella that he was suspended.
During Thursday’s ROH TV show on HonorClub, Ring of Honor announced that they will be holding a special episode of ROH TV tonight starting at 8PM EST on HonorClub.
Stardom announced that they have recently pulled Maki Itoh, Yuria Hime, and Fuwa-chan from their upcoming American Dream 2026 event on April 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada due to visas-related issues. It was announced that replacements for Itoh, Hime, and Fuwa-chan will be announced soon.
Major League Wrestling recently announced that CMLL Ultimo Guerrero will be making an appearance for the company at their co-promoted MLW x NJPW FantasticaMania USA on April 12th in Charleston, South Carolina.
CMLL recently announced that Shotzi, Trevor Lee, Ikuro Kwon, Donovan Dijak, Bishop Dyer, Diego Hill, KUSHIDA, Lady Frost, and Austin Aries will be making an appearance for the company at their co-promoted CMLL x MLW event on May 1st at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.
As noted before, Alberto El Patron, real name José Alberto Rodríguez Chucuan, was arrested in Mexico this past Monday over charges of domestic violence towards his wife. Milenio reported that El Patron will relaim in preventative detention after a recent ruling from a control judge. This ruling reportedly was made after the State General Prosecutor’s Office (FGE) had formally charged El Patron with the crime of family violence.
Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that they have been informed by the Berwyn Eagles Club that their venue will no longer be hosting wrestling events following the alleged fan stabbing incident involving wrestler Krule at an event for Ruthless Pro Wrestling this past March. In a follow-up tweet, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale stated that they had also been informed that the alleged “stabbing” to Krule was fake and the incident had resulted in the town, lawyers, and police getting involved.
In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale gave his thoughts about his promotion’s relationship with AEW and AEW CEO Tony Khan in wake of TNA pulling their talents from indies bookings. Lauderdale stated “There have been bumps in the road but the truth is that Tony Khan and AEW have been good to GCW since day one, both publicly & privately. I am grateful and thankful that they continue to allow their talent to perform on our events.“
