WWE: Lilian Garcia & Former Wrestler Patrick Ellrich Gets Married, AJ Styles on His Match with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33 Being His Best WrestleMania Match in His Wrestling Career, New Trademarks

Lilian Garcia & Former Wrestler Patrick Ellrich Gets Married

As noted before, WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia revealed this past November that she got engaged to someone who’s identity she did not reveal at the time.

Sports Illustrated’s The TakeDown on SI held a recent interview with Garcia. One of the topics discussed included Garcia revealing that she got married to former wrestler Patrick Ellrich on April 12th. Garcia also stated that they had originally planned a bigger wedding with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and former WWE wrestler Candice Michelle flying in as guests but they felt it was becoming overwhelming and decided to elope instead.

“Yeah, we were gonna do a bigger wedding with more friends. Trish Stratus was ready to fly in. Candice Michelle, like yeah, there were some people that were ready to fly in. But as we were preparing, it started getting very overwhelming. So, the joy started depleting and the stress of it started piling on.

We could not have orchestrated this any better. During the ceremony, we were overlooking a bridge and you could hear the water flowing and the birds chirping. It was so peaceful. The whole vibe was peaceful.”

Ellrich gave his thoughts about his recent marriage to Garcia and them planning to attend WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

“I can’t hide how I am absolutely over the moon excited I am to be going to WrestleMania. In Vegas and a couple days after we get married? With Lillian Garcia? I’m so excited. I love the lineup of matches. I’m pumped about getting to go to the Hall of Fame as well. Getting to see what she’s (Lilian) doing with Trish that week and then getting to just run around WWE World for a few days as well? I can’t hide my excitement.

Not a lot of people know that she and I traveled together her entire career. She was there seven years straight, She and I rode together for that whole time. We have stories. We have many stories. So we’re going to share some of those stories and then answer the Q and A’s on Thursday night. I’m supposed to be doing something at WWE World Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Friday night is Hall of Fame”

AJ Styles Comments on His Match with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33 Being His Best WrestleMania Match in His Wrestling Career

A recent episode of the Phenomenally Retro podcast featured co-host and WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles giving his thoughts about his match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33 being the best WrestleMania match he ever had in his wrestling career.

“The best WrestleMania match that I had was against Shane McMahon. It was. You have Shane, who is a perfectionist; he wants it perfect. I get that. We just so happened to place things where they should and the storyline we had going into it made it a perfect match.”
