Cody Rhodes Makes Surprise Appearance & Trashes The Set at 4/15 The Pat McAfee Show
Wednesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured co-host Pat McAfee announcing that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes made a surprise appearance and trashed the set before the show started.
McAfee also played a security footage video showing Rhodes trashing the studio, destroying a computer on the ground, and retrieving his Undisputed WWE title before leaving.
“A person whose self-proclaimed name is the American Nightmare, is just that. He’s a criminal. Last night, obviously, something devastating happened to our entire Thunderdome.
And on his way out, while DaBone is doing nothing yet again, he spikes my computer, my only computer. So Cody just walks out, no problem. Then he goes on Instagram and posts a video of himself leaving, playing my song while boarding a plane.”
Ladies and gentlemen..

Rhodes is currently scheduled to be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42. In recent weeks, McAfee had aligned himself with Orton and had attacked Rhodes following his surprise return on the April 3rd WWE SmackDown show.
Becky Lynch Comments on How Wrestlers Are Not Catered To In WWE
Dan Soder held a recent interview with Becky Lynch. One of the topics discussed included Lynch’s thoughts about how wrestlers remain self-sufficient in WWE and how the company does not cater to them in terms of taking care of their wrestling-related expenses for shows.
“I mean this politely, we’re not catered to. At all. Maybe there are a couple of folks…as you get more into it, you put up with less shit, but we pay for our own gear. They’re not getting us gear. We buy our own gear. We buy our own rental cars and our own hotels. We are in charge of booking those hotels and booking those rental cars. I think that’s why, actually, when we go to work at other places, whether it be ‘Billions’ or wherever, people are pleasantly surprised at how easy going we are because we’re not used to being catered to. We don’t expect anything. We don’t expect anybody to look after us. We are standardly so self-sufficient.”
