Ricky Shane Page Issues Statement on Fake Fan Stabbing Incident at 3/28 Ruthless Pro Wrestling Event & Any Claims Of It Being a Work are ‘Patently False’

As noted before, indies wrestler Krule, also known as Mads Krugger and Mads Krule, was involved in an alleged fan stabbing incident at an event for Ruthless Pro Wrestling this past March in Berwyn, Illinois. This “stabbing” incident was later revealed to have been faked after host venue Berwyn Eagles Club had informed Game Changer Wrestling and other indies promotions that they would no longer be hosting wrestling events due them losing their license over the incident. The Berwyn Police Department had recently closed their case on the incident and confirmed that no stabbing had taken place at the show.

Ruthless Pro Wrestling co-owner Ricky Shane Page, also known as RSP, recently issued an official statement on Twitter about the incident and stated any claims of it being a “work” are “patently false.”

“For those of you asking me to make a statement, as I said when interviewed by BLVD Bullies last week, before I left for a planned vacation, I didn’t witness the incident in person. I was on the other side of the room and while I knew there was some sort of commotion, my view of the incident was obstructed. I apologize if my tone came off as dismissive.

I did not become a co-owner of RPW until after the “Omega” event. Because of this, I am not involved or privy to any investigations or details of those investigations. I have not contributed to the current narrative regarding the incident. Any implication that it was somehow a “work” or “storyline” is patently false. Check the sources.

I have remained in contact with the management at Berwyn Eagles and have offered to assist them in any way to make sure that they are able to continue their legacy of hosting the wrestling shows Chicago deserves. I look forward to continuing working with them in any capacity going forward.

Thank you.”
