Cathy Kelley Reportedly Trained at Performance Center for Expanded WWE On-Screen Role

This past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Sacramento, California featured an in-ring interview segment with WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer that quickly turned into a brawl after Liv Morgan ran out and attacked Vaquer. This segment was notable for Morgan shoving Vaquer into WWE interviewer Cathy Kelley causing Kelly to get “injured” and required assistance to the back.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Kelley did train at WWE’s Performance Center but it was geared towards an expanded on-screen role rather than an actual in-ring run for her in the company.

AAA World Mixed Tag Titles, NXT Women’s North American Title, and More Matches Announced for WWE World Events in Las Vegas

Oba Femi Comments on Him Being The Future Of WWE

Yahoo Sports’ Uncrowned held a recent interview with Oba Femi. One of the topics discussed included Femi’s thoughts about the comments made by other people about him being the future of WWE.

“I made it a mission of mine to show these people at the main roster, show all the producers, the bookers, the head honchos that I belong. I’m not just a prospect, because this thing that (people) keep saying, ‘The future, the future, the future’ — it’s like, no, man. These guys are at the top and they’re in their 40s. I’m under 30. I’m ready to go, and I wanted to show them that day, and what better stage to do that than side-by-side, shoulder-to-shoulder with the number one guy in the company, Cody Rhodes? And I think I accomplished my mission. My statement was clear: I belong here.”
