Tommaso Ciampa Issues Challenge for AEW World Title

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru 2026 show at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington featured Tommaso Ciampa issuing a challenge for the AEW World Championship.

Following Ciampa’s victory over Dezmond Xavier in a singles match, he grabbed a microphone and talked about the reason why he came to AEW was to be where the best wrestle and win all of the gold. Ciampa then issued a challenge to Darby Allin and MJF saying who ever walks out as AEW World Champion tonight, the Pyscho Killer is coming for that title.


Sting Makes Surprise Appearance,

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru 2026 show also featured Sting making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Renee Paquette was seen walking with Darby Allin backstage getting some last words ahead of his match against MJF for the AEW World Championship. Paquette and Allin suddenly stopped and looked off-screen, which was revealed to be Sting standing there. Sting walked up to Allin and gave him a pep talk about how it was his time tonight to become the new AEW World Champion.


Darby Allin Wins AEW World Title

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru 2026 show also featured Darby Allin defeating MJF to become the new AEW World Champion.

Following the match, several members of the AEW locker room came out to celebrate with Allin in the ring. Sting came out next and joined in on the celebration.

This was Allin’s first-ever AEW World Championship victory in his AEW career.


Current Card for This Week’s AEW Collision Spring BreakThru 2026 Show

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru 2026 show also featured four new matches announced for the card of this week’s AEW Collision Spring BreakThru 2026 show on April 16th.

This upcoming show will be taped on Wednesday, April 15th at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington as part of that night’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru 2026 show.

Among the notable new matches announced was an AEW Women’s World Championship match of Alex Windsor vs. Thekla (c). This new match was setup following a promo segment involving Thekla and Windsor that ended in a brawl with Windsor and Sisters of Sin and Windsor chasing Thekla through the crowd.
